Soms heeft u direct een foto of een videoclip nodig en is er geen tijd of gelegenheid om deze te laten maken. U wilt een zomerse foto maar het is toevallig winter. Dit kan opgelost worden door gebruik te maken van een fotostock bedrijf. Daar koopt u een geschikte foto en/of videoclip zodat u toch direct aan de slag kunt. Een voorbeeld? Albert Heijn maakte recent in een commercieel gebruik van onze clip van het schaatsen op natuurijs in de polder. Deze beelden waren op dat moment niet te maken want het was ruim boven nul!

Veel van mijn foto’s en video’s zijn ondergebracht bij iStock en Getty Images. Twee gerenommeerde amerikaanse stock bedrijven. iStock is een online royaltyvrije, internationale leverancier van stockfotografie in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Het bedrijf biedt miljoenen foto’s, illustraties, video’s en audiotracks aan. Afbeeldingen worden betaald met credits. De prijs van de credits is afhankelijk van het gekochte volume en het abonnement. Getty Images, is ook een Amerikaans stock bedrijf met het hoofdkantoor in Seattle, Washington. Het is een leverancier van stock afbeeldingen, redactionele fotografie, video en muziek voor bedrijven en consumenten met een archief van meer dan 200 miljoen activa. Het richt zich op drie markten: creatieve professionals (reclame en grafisch ontwerp), de media (print en online publishing) en bedrijven (interne ontwerp-, marketing- en communicatieafdelingen).
